Mission & Vision
Pacific Institute’s mission is to harness the richness the elderly and chronically mental ill can offer and to provide them with the comprehensive care they need.

Our vision is that Pacific Institute will be an effective, inspiring, and innovative community in which to teach, learn, work and grow and develop the skills and wisdom of eldership.

Pacific Institute’s belief is that a joint venture between an elder or individuals with non-ordinary states of consciousness and young clinicians and volunteers helps to develop the ‘inner elder’ in the helpers by unfolding his or her inner wisdom while simultaneously allowing elders and chronically mental ill individuals to unfold their essence, who they are.

To reach our goals, we lead educational programs, conduct research, design specialized programs, and deliver cutting edge mental health services in residential facilities for seniors and for the chronically mental ill as well.
